Key Components when Building a Gaming PC
Motherboard
– This is the main circuit board that almost everything in your computer will connect to, hence the name.
Hard Drive
– This is where everything will be stored. You can select 2TB SSD if you want to but then your PC won`t be under $1000. For our own PC, we used 512 GB SSD (more on that later) instead of HDD. As we all know SSD performance is better than HDD that`s why we chose it.
Graphics Card
– This is obviously the biggest part of any gaming rig as it has the largest impact on the visuals. You’ll want to put most of your investment on this. The popular choices will be NVIDIA and AMD.
CPU
– The brains of the operation. The whole performance of your PC will depend on it. So, choose wisely.
Power Supply(PSU)
– Much like it sounds, it powers nearly everything inside your computer. Don’t skimp out on this one.
RAM
– RAM: Random Access Memory. This helps with multitasking and start-up speeds. You’ll want a minimum of 4GB. Don’t go cheap on RAM. For our own PC, we chose 16GB RAM.
